MACLENNAN-LSE carry out many forms of tanking work. Some of them use Sika, Vandex , Thoroseal and Grace products.

Sika tanking is a pre-bagged system of render coatings built up in relatively thin layers. For this type of system used, it is important that the materials used are the Sika pre-bagged and batched materials, not a Sika additive, into ordinary sand cement mortar. The Vandex, Thoroseal Grace and Newton 101f products, on the other hand, are slurry coats which can go onto well-prepared concrete or pre-rendered masonry. Some of these products can be polymer modified to improve adhesion, curing and elasticity.

Maclennan-LSE also uses Polyprufe systems in tanking. This system takes advantage of Polyurea - known internationally as the best coating system for tank linings, roofs, basement, bunds, steel and a whole lot more. Polyprufe combines fast curing, chemical resistance and durability in one spraying technique.
